Dar Economics

Though Pakistan Finance Minister Ishaq Dar returned to Pakistan with a bang to get the country out of its deep economic crisis, it seems the perceived ‘Dar Economics’ along with its long-held mantra has finally been debunked with all its fallacies and shameful blunders. However, the cost of finance minister’s egregious policymaking and wrong decisions is being paid by the public at large, while an economic genius like Ishaq Dar is as innocent as a lamb and he must now be ready to go back to the U.K., leaving his beloved country in the lurch.

‘Jail Bharo Tehreek’

PTI chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan finally kicked off ‘Jail Bharo Tehreek’ in February last week. On the face of it, the part of the move is to get the country out of perpetual governance crisis, but this time Imran Khan, along with the top PTI leadership, could do a big favour by not coming out from the prison after a self-willed court arrest for the next five years at least.

‘No Man Needed’

Pakistani TV and film actress Sajal Ali says she does not need a man to lead a happy life. According to her, a woman doesn’t need a man to be complete and a marriage is a limitation of a girl’s life since it locks her in a kind of box. Although she has not shared her expert opinion about what makes a woman’s life complete, Sajal Ali must now come forward to publicly explain how a wed-locked woman can lead a happy life without getting herself free from the marital bondage.

Kudos to Khawaja Asif

At last, someone from the PDM-led government has admitted the fact that Pakistan has already defaulted and we are now living in a bankrupt country. Though the rest of the people in the government, including the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, are still in the state of denial, kudos to Defence Minister Khawaja Asif for accepting the reality without any lame excuses or justification. We hope an official announcement will soon be made confirming the historical achievement.
